Our story dates back to 2012, when our founder and director – Awais Khan – had the intention to open a tuition centre for the local community at affordable prices and taught by qualified teachers.
With teaching naturally in his genes as were both his grandparents, he knew that this was his chance to really help and support the mass who struggle to pay for tuition.
Mr Khan went on to teach at primary, secondary and college level and successfully gained ‘outstanding practices’ for his teaching, which furthered his desire to open his own state of the art tuition centre.
In 2016, Mr Khan managed to successfully open the first and main centre of Teach Smart Tuition in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Since opening the tuition centre, parents have been impressed with the facilities, the unique methods of teaching by the tutors, progress made & the quality of tuition that their children received. Many of the students have successfully gone on to gain places at local grammar schools, progress in their studies and surpass their desired results at GCSEs.
In August 2020, Mr Khan teamed up with his management team and are proud to announce that they are opening an additional centre in the heart of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Our Goal
Since opening our first tuition centre in Halifax in 2016, our main priority and goal was to provide excellent private tuition at an affordable cost whilst being taught by qualified teachers.
Our team consists of qualified teachers who have successfully supported local children build their confidence, progress in their studies and achieve highly for their SATs, 11plus and GCSEs.
